Welcome to the Snowflake-Taylor Emergency Community Preparedness Fair, an outdoor family event with a free pancake breakfast! As a community, it’s important for us to come together and prepare for potential emergencies and disasters that could have an acute or lasting impact on us individually or affecting us all. We believe that being prepared is the key to keeping our families, friends, and our community safe, as well as minimizing the impact of unforeseen life-events.

Working together, the Snowflake-Taylor organized a Community Emergence Preparedness Fair held at the Taylor Rodeo Grounds on Saturday, May 11, 2024. A variety of engaging and informative booths, including workshops, demonstrations, and talks from local experts, all aimed at equipping you with the knowledge and skills you and your family may need to be ready for any emergency were displayed and are now available here on the website for your use.

We extend a warm invitation to all nearby residents and friends from afar in joining our community in being prepared. Whether you’re experienced in your preparations or just getting started, there is something for everyone. Take time to visit all of the information we have provided for you.

  1. Learn more about emergency preparedness
  2. Discover local resources
  3. Meet your neighbors

NOTE: This is a new website for the Snowflake-Taylor folks and friends. It is by no means near finished, but you can check back regularly and watch it expand with helpful resources!
